Welcome

Hello, and a very warm welcome to the Sarah Harrison website. I’ve been a published novelist since 1980, but my passion for writing goes back a lot further than that. I was a daydreaming, scribbling child, and I’ve been writing in one form or another all my adult life – journalism, radio talks, poetry, pantomime, short stories and children’s books, as well as the novels for which I’m best known, and which give me (and I hope my readers) the greatest pleasure and satisfaction.

More recently I’ve been putting my Entertainer’s hat. There’s more about all that on the Performance page.

The great news is that in 2013 Orion re-issued my two big bestsellers, The Flowers of the Field and A Flower That’s Free, plus the brand-new third book in the trilogy, The Wildflower Path. — the paperback is out now.
